The Tripitaka ("three baskets") is a foundational collection of early Buddhist texts, most closely associated with the Theravada tradition, though other schools maintain their own related or overlapping canons. This page presents only a general introduction; the different divisions, translations and school-specific canons will be introduced individually as verified content is added.
